Without Papers Pizza – fresh and inspiring creations
Well we finally made it down to Without Papers Pizza, after saying every week we must go try we found an afternoon to visit this fine establishment. You can find this pizza joint in the heart of inglewood on 9th Ave and you will find it upstairs where Nectar Desserts used to be. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of tables and an open atmosphere. If you follow them on twitter @wopizza you can find out what kids movies are playing that evening. You can also find the menu at www.wopizza.com.
We started off with the in house made Micheleangelo’s beef and pork meatballs then tried three different types of pizza’s, the Margherita (Buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomato sauce), The Hutch (Spicy cacciatore salmi, spicy calabrese salami, pepperonata, mozzarella, bocconcini, tomato sauce) and the Shroom (Wild mushrooms, black truffle oil, fresh arugula, roasted garlic white sauce). All three were delicious, beautiful crust, and each pizza had its own special highlights. I ate so much I couldn’t move. It probably didn’t help our drinks were rootbeer and orange floats which were amazing. I would not hesitate to come back to this place for the great food, service and atmosphere.
Also check out the video at the bottom of this post to see how they got their pizza oven in.
