JoJo’s BBQ Food Truck
I love BBQ which I mean smokey, saucy, tasty, tender BBQ. I’m a huge Holy Smoke BBQ fan and love their sandwiches. I’m surprised it’s taken me this long, but I finally got the chance to check out JoJo’s BBQ Food Truck with Fuzzy and another well fed friend. When we got to the location which was Barbecues Galore North this day, it was perfect because I needed to pick up some Maple Charcoal for my grill, in the parking lot sat an old looking camper with the JoJo’s BBQ logo all over it. We knew it was going to be good because it just had that look screaming, Great BBQ In Here!
The service is excellent, the menu is easy to read and navigate. The food, MMMMMMMMMM, so good I’m telling you. There were many highlights in the smorgasbord of BBQ we got, but the absolute favourite was the BBQ-TINE (Smoked Pulled Pork, Smoked Beef Brisket, Homemade Gravy, Real Cheese Curds over Fries). I’m usually one for traditional poutine but I have no complaints about this and by the way, it’s a meal on it’s own or share it with someone. This was the first of the four things I ate. HAHA. Next up was the Sloppy Jo Jo’s, a sandwich with both the pulled pork and brisket, once again delicious, had the meat sweats at this point but I couldn’t put it down, the slices of brisket were delicious. We ordered a Full-on Rack O Ribs to share (12 bones), these were outright amazing, just the way I like it, meaty, tender, but not fall off the bone. The last killer item was the corn fritters, I love the ones at Chicken on the Way but these ones, WOW, it really tasted of corn and was fried perfect.
Obviously I’m coming back to JoJo’s whenever I can and so should you!
