District – where the foodies love to drink

We headed over to the district for lunch, it was highly recommended by some of our foodie friends.  If our foodie friends were saying it was outstanding we had to go see for ourselves right away.

There are quite an extensive menu on chalk boards and walls, which was nice to see because you knew they changed up the menu often.  The one staple I’m sure which is always there is the Poutine.  They have a section of the wall dedicated to Poutine and the massive amounts of toppings available.

I opted for the Lamb Burger with a side of poutine and added in Double Smoked Thick Cut Bacon.  The burger had good flavour, it was cooked to my liking and toppings were simple to keep the burger the star of the show.  The poutine was really good, the bacon was awesome in there and wish I had more.  The next time I go, I will need to do a large poutine alone and go for more added toppings on to see how delicious I can make it.
