Calgary’s Dining Festival, The Big Taste, started today. Restaurants in the downtown core serve up fixed lunch menus for $15 or $25. And dinner menus for $25 or $35. Check out the complete list of restaurants here.

And the lunch menu was wrapped up with a Callebaut chocolate pot du crème with bourbon sour cherries for dessert. Truly sinful. The rich chocolate and the tartness of the cherries were a perfect combination.
Would I eat at Big Fish again? Absolutely. I may pass on the salad though. And for the people who were seated next to us…sorry we stared at your soft shell crab sandwich. I guess we’ll be trying that next time.
